The foundation can grant funding within the framework of its rules for individual persons and organisations.
The application period runs from the 1st of January until the 1st of March of each year.
The board of the foundation decides on the distribution of grants and other support on the basis of received applications during April - May each year. All applicants will be notified of the decision by the end of May at the latest.

The foundation provides grants and other means of support to:
postdoctorate scholars,
researchers,
journalists and
others engaged in public debate or scholarly work on relevant societal and economic issues.
The foundation provides grants for the following purposes:
Grants in support of professional education for young journalists with an interest in financial markets and political economy. This excludes applications for full studies, such as grants to finance university studies.
Support for research into the operations and regulation of financial markets.
Grants to support research and scholarly work in preparation for public and political debate, particularly the study of market based solutions to economic problems.
Contributions to and active participation in political and societal debates, as well as positions intended to support a societal development based on a market economy with conservative Anglo-Saxon values;
Other significant contributions to societal development based on individual freedom and traditional education.
